A study in 2009 discovered that 48% of tennis balls made specifically for the pet industry had detectable to high levels of lead, arsenic, chlorine and bromine. Studies in humans have linked these chemicals to learning disabilities, reproductive problems, liver toxicity and cancer.If you own a cat you might have purchased one of the many catnip toys sold in pet stores. What you need to know is that many of the catnip toys from overseas factories have tested positive for high levels of chromium.
